Finding someone trustworthy in dealing with riches is hard, but at least Tonio is willing to admit that he wants to make money (on top of his previous actions), which makes him more trustworthy than those who, as William said: skimming profit off in the guise of lending a hand.

You might have to make him minister of economy at some point, and yes the gold is one thing with the absurd amount but who knows what kind of rare or cursed items are there too.
One could even say, a lot of gold (wealth) naturally comes with a curse of its own even without the evil dragon, one that causes mistrust and paranoia, and brings jealousy and malicious intent towards the owner. William sidesteps that by willing to trust Tonio.

Gold itself is a curse, true. Imagine being a peasant earning silvers a month, and suddenly there's this giant hoard of GOLD in the nearby mountain. People go mad for less.

Also, it's nice to see Will's other talents being put to use. He was taught well :qq:

Are the scanlator following or using the light novel? why are some words substituted with other words? like evil = foul, equipments = implements . Its just that i noticed that light novel tends to use uncommon words as a substitute for every day words to add to their "flair". I have nothing against it but i just want to know if this is a method by which scanlators translate manga, by following the already translated light novel

We don't need to imagine. Most jackpot winners lose most of it within a few years and end up in worse economic situations than before winning big.
