I mean objectively Mirei and Narika are both better candidate, Narika even went against her father and won herself a freedom while Hinako only lead is that she met him at the right time. If the situation changed and it’s not Hinako that got kidnapped then she really has no chance imo.
I understand the appeal of gap moe and a girl that need you to take care of but only if someday Hinako got herself together and went against her father then maybe we’ll talk but I think it’s gonna be only at the end of the series. I don’t mind a surprise though.

Well last time I read a manga about a boy taking care of a clumsy ojou sama
the first girl lost, the protagonist helped her becoming more independent but he became a couple wuth another girl. So if this aithor does the same we might get a Tennouji ending, but I don't think there chances are high.
I still think an harem ending would be ideal, they could play the card that these families are so influential and powerful that they are above the law.

Not gonna lie, I’m a diehard believer in FMC’s winning, but holy shit is Mirei just objectively a better love interest candidate than Minako.

Honestly though? ALL of the side girls are better candidates than Minako right now. She feels way too one-dimensional, while everyone else feels properly fleshed out.

I think I’m going to firmly stay in Team Mirei, unless Minako gets some serious character development.

The author really cooked with the chemistry with Mirei knowing DAMN well that she ain't winning (I'm praying I'm wrong)
