@Yourredhead I think Apophis would be a cop out if he was the main antagonist for the timeline murder shenanigans. It would be a waste of Set needing to distrust, more actively, everyone around him, while getting them to trust him, and all the red flag raising moments with Osiris. Those moments with Osiris might be a massive red herring, but I find that unlikely at this point.

I was like, why would he threaten the farmers? XDD Lmao his bro knows him too well. And is that jealousy I smell from Osiris? In the past only he could control Set after all.

It's obvious why Set isn't fit to be King, he's not sneaky like his bro (aside from the even more obvious traits like his short temper). Osiris told Set not to change, assuming Osiris is saying Set's fine the way he is, and while the sentiment may be touching, it's just advantageous to his position as King. I'd imagine having such a glaring comparison all the time is good for him. Most of the subjects would prefer to have Osiris as a King, even if he makes a mistake. So Set staying unpopular is good for him (and both of them). If Set becomes popular, the people that don't want Osiris to be King will support Set in being the King. If people start going 'wow maybe Set should be King cause he's better in this and this' that's gonna cause a rift between them. So I mean, he should stay unpopular LOL. His brain won't be able to handle all that political intrigue.
