Why this types of stories with insecure, twisted and cruel lovers are never actually psychological? As in, not analytical nor reflexive. I'd love to see that piece of shit of a man evolve as characters and work through his insecurities and guilt. See him realize his wrongdoings and come to terms with himself. Or even just an acknowledgement of the madness and abuse that is what he's been doing.

The setting is interesting enough, even her character setting as a maniac pixie dream girl of sorts was. There was potential. But nooo let's just have... This.

To everyone asking what changed his mind:
Her finding the divorce papers -----> her signing them (for him) ------> her telling him she loves him and hopes he loves her back despite signing them (proving she did it just for him). All these became an ultimatum for him so he acted out. Because his insecurities about their marriage were finally sorted out.
It's weak really but I'm happy for her (and I hope they start sleeping in the same bed goddamnit)
