Seems like this author's pushing a certain message to her (author's first name, Hozumi, sounds quite feminine--Jisho.org doesn't seem to disagree much) audience: the misdeeds of women are always to be forgiven, no matter how extreme and even if you're personally harmed by them.

That being said, some have made some compelling arguments in Sofia's favor: at least she didn't continue to side with that psycho shorthair.
