Things seems to have put on fast forward, but as someone who read the novel, I am welcoming the change.
-Abel and Mea have moved to a different territory, and it seems to have its problem.
-Abel slaughtered a Hydra creature before entering the territory, and presented its heads to the terrified soldiers.
-The Marren search party are exhausted and unprepared for the journey, and had lots of trouble. Firo and Shibi are complaining that the citizen were scary. Gizel is doing fine, she's serious about finding Abel. And the Book she has speaks with her telling her that Abel is close, and that she must look for a "good omen".
-Abel is trying to grow something called "Totem Melons" and later clears out a rainstorm with wind magic.
-Abel falls sick with a cold (he thinks he's dying haha..), and Mea falls asleep with her head on his bed... then some magic wisp thing comes from her forehead, that clears Abel's sickness somehow... and makes some big flare signal in the night sky, seen by Gizel, and Mea's father and his men. (That never happened in the Novel)
-Abel wakes up and is full on energy, and apparently saw and learnt a new magic circle in his sleep (no nightmare), and went to test it. Mea was spooked from seeing the aftermath.
-Last shot shows the Doom tribe men closing on the territory. "Found you... Mea" says her father.
* ``Pursuers approach the peaceful couple!! <The manga is shipping them already!?>

Spoiler: Overall thoughts

* I am a bit miffed they skipped Nalgarn's fight, some plots and characters (like Euris, Rinoa, Marias, Ringus) were not mentioned yet, and I don't know what to think. The Doom tribe seem to be faster at finding the duo and might create tension before its time. I do like the mystery of Mea's forehead and the magic it has, though somehow it might cause trouble for her and Abel after that light show. Maybe we're in for an interesting turning point from here on out.

Ch23 has just came out!

The Doom tribe group (actually 4 people), apparently not long after the end of ch22, have reached Abel and Mea, and her father orders the trembling scared girl to come back home already. Abel stands between them and calls him out on the terrible treatment Mea got from the tribe and then them coming back to take her by force. However, Mea's father says something that "Mea's power must've began to release" and runs to Abel and Mea, full ready to attack. Abel summons the totem Ashura 5000 then he and Mea get inside it as it flies away to somewhere. They land and get out, only to find that Mea's dad and his men have reached them already, and mowed down the road they took. Abel attacks them with Earth magic, with Ashura 5000, and later use Hydeem Magic metal (the metal spheres he used before) on the Mea's dad... but all of that didn't even SCRATCH HIM!! He's f***king STRONG!! Abel tries to use Ashura on Mea's dad from behind.... but with one magic-powered punch, Mea's dad smashed the totem into thousands of pieces!!

Oh Shit Oh Shit Oh Shit
Is that what it feels like when a late game boss skips the story and attack the protagonist on disk 1 or 2?? What I was fearing the most must've came true, the author and artist must've realized that letting the story go on it's novel pace may get boring for the readers, and decided to jump us a late story battle just like that. Even worse, not much of the story or its characters have been explored or fleshed out yet, and Abel hasn't powered up enough to face what may comes next... so I am fearing an abrupt ending and wishing for a deus ex machina to help our white boy and blue girl. And also, no Gizel in this chapter though.

Ashura was shattered into pieces by Mea's father. Abel and Mea manage to escape in the face of an extremely powerful opponent, and have a strategy meeting to discuss how they can escape.

Been exceptionally busy to post anything, but here I am. Chapter 25 came out in.. 21 December 2023.

Abel and his friend succeed in restraining Mea's father with Abel Whip. Then, Mea's father tells her an unexpected story...

I thought of giving my thoughts on the chapter in details... but I'd like to refrain from doing so. Suffice to say, the manga is taking a risk by diverging more from the webnovel at such a screwy turn. Even with my full knowledge of it, I am at a loss at what to expect .

On other news, Volume 5 of the manga is set to be released on February 9, 2024. So we might get to see the cover someday before that time.
