I think I'm going to drop this series as it's more annoying than entertaining with the reused tropes, the overcompetent mc, the vague skill/powers that currently makes the mc (& only him) op, the casual sexism/queer-bashing rhetoric within this chapter, the archetypes of the demure/effeminate man (I know it's a thing in Japan, but nearly everytime they depict the archetype in manga it feels off in a voyeuristic way) going alongside my previous grievances makes this not worth my time
I do think it'll be serviceable to those who'll continue reading because it might be just a fun read, and I don't want to take away from their enjoyment, but I don't think that it'll go beyond mid/fun read status.


To the scanlators, please take your time scanlating as I don't know of anyone else who's also scanlating this, and any extra time proofreading will increase renoun for your group

Maybe ive just been poisoned by other manga but I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop somehow, like the prince and girl to turn out to be romantically involved and leave him for dead because they see him as an obstacle or something

I'm close to dropping, so let me get this straight. MC is friends with an upper noble, a prince and is well known via tournaments and by the royalty for his prowess and all that and they let his order be treated worse then dirt?

This makes absolutely zero sense and is indicative of the writer wanting his/her cake and eating it too. If you want a down trodden type setting dont have MC be the pinnacle knight that even the royalty acknowledges.

The way they treated is a form of racism and its not considered a crime, if the majority of the noble (both on harmony and opposition faction) agree to this treatment, what can a king do? At least openly, the king can still aid them from behind the scene though.

The way kings are portrayed in these manga is so wild to me. Sometimes the King has all the power, sometimes the King has so little he has to help the protag behind the scenes. It's never just a reasonable amount of sway that makes sense for the story being told.

A king so powerless that they can't openly support the strongest warrior in the kingdom is so unbelievably useless. Their word must not matter at all. Can't even make an honorary status for protag or anything?
