Beam of light =/= electricity =/= a mass moving at light speed

While they do "travel" at light speed, they are all different things.

In electricity, there is actually only little movement from each individual electron, but like a Newton's Cradle, the momentum will transfer/propagate at light speed.

A mass moving at light speed will probably cause an explosion not unlike that of a nuclear bomb. @noob has probably read this article, https://what-if.xkcd.com/1/.

The guy in the center is from Re:Monster.
The guy sitting in the far right is from Jaryuu Tensei.
I don't know about the wolf in the center, though.

Let's see... An arrow weighs, on average, about 6-9 grains-per-inch for most arrows (this can obviously be lighter or heavier depending on the arrow shaft material, arrow head and of course overall length influences overall weight). With the average, again, being about 300-400+.

So let's assume an arrow weight of 300 grains going at a speed of .9c. That's 2,261,087,523 Megajoules.
"That's neat and a really big number and all, but what does that even mean?" you might be thinking.
Well, let's compare that to something else to show the scale. Gunpowder, per kilogram, has about 3 Megajoules of energy potential. Meaning, mathematically, each and every arrow he fires would like a Tsar Bomba going off.

"Ah! But maybe his arrows are made of just light (photons) and thus have no mass."
Maybe so, but they still have photon energy. Very(or ultra)-high-energy gamma rays can have photon energies even going up to something equivalent of a punch or a projectile fired from a weapon. If you're hit by that many at the same time...

Either way, that bow is a legit god damn weapon of mass destruction.

It's a shame the MC isn't shooting real physical arrows at the speed of light, only arrows made of spirit. Because of that, it probably doesn't matter how fast they travel; the damage probably wouldn't change even one bit if it went at 1 meter per second or at the speed of light.
