Oh-uh. This seems worse than simple plot armor. This smells like endgame. Claudes powers have been bound by 8? "chains" by that curse. And releasing one of them helped a lot to give him his power back (lvl15->25). It looked like this would be a story relevant quest to unlock his powers. Maybe they wouldn't have unlocked his power chain by chain, but still.
Now MC got an immense powerup, the loli is veeeery useful, the sacred beast mode has been unlocked and Claude is at 100% (lvl95), after meeting the endboss in disguises, who came to finish them off personally. (To gain the knowledge, that somebody helps Claude, and then even finding them would normally have taken that bitch that much time, it would be placed somewhere mid storyish.) They also just beat up the big boss's soul familiar. I can be, that the story will return to a more normal pacing starting next chapter, but right now, in those last few chapters, the author discarded so many possible sub-plots, I fear it might be rushing to an end.
There is no LN or WN to check this, is there?

EDIT: Or maybe MC will change his company again. (Hero+Sage quest clear! Time for a new campaign)
