So he has next to no real offensive powers, except those gifted to him and he is losing them, when he needs them (clearing dungeons). The existence of an effect, that blocks his abilities is also a major setback in itself. Maybe some debuff spell could do the same. In that case he would have a very bad weakness to exploit in the worst kind of situations.
I see, why some people are getting tiered of this titel. The MC has a small set of unique (and very efficiently used) OP-cheat abilities (Worldmap, Appraisal), but next to nothing to defend himself, when found. Him being well liked, is a "wonderful" ability as 1. It doesn't get much more offensive, when the world tells him, he is shit and should just rely on others and 2. if that really is an ability, its fucking brainwashing. His offensive skills that he got are either very weak or, as it turns out, unreliable. It doesn't help, that he is about to be ambushed yet again in that dungeon and his offensive abilities regress also.
It's fine, that this manga takes the longer route and doesn't just shower MC in offensive cheat abilities (except that one time). More to expect and not giving everything away is a good setup for long term entertainment. It's one of the major good points, but... he stayed a bit too long too useless in battles. Some unique ability, that he could use to save his butt or turn things around in a tight situation, some sort of ace up his sleeve, would be nice at this point. The way is is right now, he simply becomes the victim in most situations and can't fight back. It's just one demotivating moment after the other for him. Also an enemy on his tail, that knows and abuses his weak point might sound like an exciting idea. But if it leads to that he can only survive because of deus ex machina events, like random power ups as it happened last time he faced his pursuer, if I remember correctly, that's boring.
And as MC could be about to give up any moment (especially if he learns, that "there is no way back home"), so are some readers. It's no fun reading a manga that offers no drama, but it is also no fun reading one, that is just unsatisfying or even frustrating for too long.
Don't get me wrong. My patients didn't run out. This manga still has a few interesting setups, I see potential and I like it. But some mistakes have already been made. There is progress in the story (Wolf hero's curses are broken one by one, mage girl becomes stronger), but regarding his own new powers, it felt like an asspull, when he got showered in them. (And it amounts to nothing, if they are taken away again or become unreliable. You don't climb a mountain with gear that might or might not work.) Now MC is also about to make enemies with some idiotic, foolish elven nobles (the trope of all frustrating setups/Sounds like a heck of pain in the arse.), is about to be ambushed, loses his abilities and is being pressed back into a frustrating loser role. Just one setup, that might lead to a frustration situation, after the other. Of course you don't feel thrilled about reading the next chapters.
MC better come up with an awesome plan and saves the day with his limited resources like an badass to prove his worth (especially in his own eyes) to get some HYPE into this, as MC kinda IS the hero of this story, isn't he? Or is he supposed to be just a joke to us? In this case add a gag manga tag.
