This chapter raised an entire forest of flags. I kinda want the author to screw with us by having everything go smoothly.

What I really don't like about this MC is that he's such a pushover.

Being on good terms with his teammates and being diplomatic is a good thing. But can we really call this being on "good terms" with them? They patronize him on everything. Sure, that area he is staying at is dangerous and he did play games with an enemy, that was out for his life, But then again, he has other powerful enemies, that are out for him and try to murder him. He can't just sit around vor 3 weeks and do nothing, as his enemies won't allow any weaknesses. If he can explore that dungeon with his cheat abilities and gain easy XP, he should do that.

Also that "I had the feeling I shouldn't contact him right now."-feeling is a dead ringer. There are other influences on him, he already confirmed, and if he has a bad feeling about contacting them, he shouldn't do that. If they contact him, he should tell them outright, save your connection energy/the threat stability, I have a hunch we'll need it later. Instead he let them talk him down and talk about food.

Nope, I don't like that at all.
