Most likely."they are no in good condition to be put for sale."-ish... just means the slaves are not obeying them and gets punished by being beaten up or worse.
NGL, think you will find most isekai have slavery in one for or another. Even if the nation the protagonist lives in doesn't do slavery, almost assuredly a neighboring nation will.but lemme ask ya guys. i feel that there are many slave-relatered mangas on the lately or is it just me?
The good ol Skyrim trickBuy the slaves, get the collars removed, attack the slaver to get your money back.
win/win.
He is only a leader when he has interest in the situation. The majority of the time he simply does not care one way or the other therefore if one of the girls asks him to help he has no real reason not to do so. Look at him as a minor deity who answers his followers prayers because he has nothing better to do and was probably bored anyway.I think that what I hate recently in this manga is that the MMC makes a decision/statement and one of the girls objects, and he changes his mind. He is no longer a leader but a follower of the girls. In fact, he is just a bodyguard at this point.
Reminded me STALKER 2. There is side quest to return church icon.Buy the slaves, get the collars removed, attack the slaver to get your money back.
win/win.
He literally forget the Stampede arc when Seika fullfil his role as leader. He is only a leader when he has interest in the situation. I don't find that to be an issue, frankly. It just reinforces why he was purged in his last life and why his plan for this life was never going to work out the way he wanted it to.The continuing issue I have with the series is that the girls are the ones providing the MC with a moral compass.
He's pragmatic to the level of indifference most of the time.
