Amiyu don’t do that, you’re being too obvious. And it’s interesting how much he’s thought about this, Seika really seems to have taken what happened in his past life to heart. It takes a certain kind of person to be able to reflect like that, and come to a conclusion about what he did wrong.

The problem however is the conclusion he came to. Not so much that it’s the wrong one, far from it, it’s just that he’s fallen into one hell of an extreme. Honestly Seika seems like the kind of person to accidentally fall into the self harming mindset of polar extremes. It’s either all or nothing in either direction for him. Either eliminate all threats and remain the sole ruler of a desolate world. Or be a shadow puppeteer using others and hiding behind someone who can take the fall for him should push come to shove.

But through his time spent with all three of them, and especially Amiyu he’s found himself in yet another extreme, and this time his enemies aren’t in the shadows, it’s the whole world itself. He won’t let anyone touch any of them, he’s more than willing to start a war if it means keeping them safe, and only them. Everyone else is disposable, Amiyu can grow, but only so much as he deems not only acceptable, but feesable. But he isn’t the one who should be deciding that, nor does he know what she is capable of with her back against the wall.

He hasn’t let her grow, she hasn’t matured enough, she isn’t strong enough, not because she lacks then talent or the desire to grow, but because he has cleaned her path. Everything is picked and pruned, she can grow, at the pace he decides. The way things are headed, she’ll never become the yuusha she’s meant to be. And the worst part is, he doesn’t even realize he’s doing it. It’s all second nature to him, his desire to protect her far out ways his desire to use her. Honestly the way things are now, If he had to chose between keeping her safe, or using her as he intended to, I doubt he’d do what he planned. He may not realize it yet, or those feelings might not even be there at the moment, but he really does love her. Maybe not in the intimate way, at least not yet, but there is still love there regardless. The same love he feels towards Ifa and Mable.

Yeah, it's his 2nd life and he's still doesn't learn! Saying he doesn't understand the human mind, but actually doesn't even try to! He treats them as pets, I mean not literally but almost
He doesn't share anything about himself, who knows if that played a role in why his old disciples were maybe tricked to betray him? Probably not,the author will chose a classic blackmail rute idk

The more he talks about trying to "rule his past world" and "not understanding humans" really makes me question if he really was the "demon lord" in his last life, just called a different title
