Now the Saintesses are on the MC’s side and investigating the “Creator.” MC should’ve realized by now, since he’s reincarnator himself, that the Creator is probably another reincarnator too. the real question should be: who exactly that reincarnator is.
I actually like MC in this game. honestly the best solution for him is just fight and beat him down if no one’s there to hold him back :02: but I’m sure the creator is Ogata, MC coworker before reincarnation who’s bastard type

The reincarnated guy REALLY should explain the existence of others like him, to stop them from using their "creator" label as ways to manipulate people.

They need to make it clear the "creators" are not divine beings to be worshipped.

The MC should indeed realise it's another person from Japan, and he might believe it's another reincarnator. Though that would still leave him wondering about that extra strong curse power to brainwash people and miss with the people's attributes. When the MC witnesses the Creator use the smartphone and sees his face, he will realise Ogata didn't reincarnate, though. He's the same Ogata, just transferred into the game world but retaining his admin access.

Well, yeah, we see the Creator in chapter 5 and he's indeed Ogata. He was the MC's shameless boss, not coworker.

So, the sheer amount of effort it takes to break the brainwashing means if the saint is gotten, there is no accidental self purification. The sister also remembers everything under brainwashing, so the sex slaves who were at max sensitivity likely can't be saved.

That sounds very plausible, most series that have this sort of trope often also have the underlying brainwashing after the actual one is dispelled , a sort of ingrained training, so even if the brainwashing takes away most of the conscious actions, after the spell is broken unconsciously they will want to obey and follow even if consciously they dont want to do it.

With the kinda main point being our MC is a "hidden boss" and the saint can break the curses on other characters.
Im hopping this becomes like a scavenger hunt and reversi game. Where the "Hidden boss" finds other characters off the beaten path that werent in the main story and have certain requirements to meet in the base game world or just like the saintess die in it. Aswell as trying to recapture and recruit people that were under the curse.
Fun idea but its most likely going to be more straight forward and much shorter.

Yeah, Author/Mangaka kinda has things backwards here. That, or the translation might be a bit off.

The magic itself is just a form of mind control.

Lingering effects like what you were talking about? That is indeed actual brainwashing.

But what really makes brainwashing problematic isn't that they act against their own will.

It is so, so much worse than that. Their psyche has been completely broken and subverted, and their perception of the world and the people in it has been altered.

This kind of thing can be fixed, but it usually takes years of therapy. And even after the fact they'll be dealing with the fallout from the psychological trauma - sometimes even for the rest of their lives.

Fortunately, brainwashing also takes time to become rooted. Unless a person is already psychologically susceptible to becoming broken, it can take months or even years. Just like the therapy to undo this kind of damage.

So I guess we'll see.

Man, the evil god series did better job at making reincarnator battle royal than this. Well, this series is still new, so there's hope for multi reincarnator fighting each other
