Is there any part of wish fulfillment that isn't in this manga? It's a bit mid-quality doujin. You have the OP protagonist without any shown effort in getting there, having a cute and loyal companion, everyone praises him to high heavens, a setting that seems to be written for the MC, art that focuses on specific details but is flawed in other ways with a generic cutesy design, and other stuff that shows that the author only cares about the fantasy.

The setting of this manga is "the hero's adventures after winning the war". We aren't going to see him struggle much because he already did.
