The parents who sold your cards for the petty sum is utterly and complete total shitty scumbag.

No matter what, don't ever let your parents touch your valuable items. You can tell them that you'll call police or organization (like detective agency or whatever) that specialized in crime that this is a THEFT (which is still a crime) if they proceed with selling your stuffs that YOU PAID FOR.

I imagine the options would be sell his cards but still have a home or kick him out and forcing him to potentially be homeless but still have his cards......

Both options suck but I imagine alot of folks would prefer to still have a home
