Considering that the trap’s dehydrated…she just revived the tentacles. And wouldn’t you know it one of the adventurers is a woman so at least one of them will have fun.

I'm assuming the tentacle trap grabbed the humam traffickers otherwise the lack of punishment for them would be disappointing. It's an interesting direction to not show what happened after and just cut to them drinking and smoking.
