Well, this was uneventful.

I think there are two things that hold this manga back - the art style and the artist's inability to go all out in any direction.

The art style is rather amateurish by successful manga standards, the art is too "safe" and doesn't try to take any creative or interesting angles and compositions. It is competent, you can clearly tell who is who at all times and what they are doing, but there is no impact or identity, every koma has the same weight and presence in the pages, so even the ones where the scene is supposed to be impactful end up feeling like it's no different from the ones with a background gag.

And for not going all out in any direction, well, the manga is supposed a romantic comedy with ecchi elements, but the romance is mid since we don't dive much into the characters feelings aside from "feeling lewd leads to wholesome relationship;" the comedy is just okay as it sometimes requires the art to carry the punchline (compare the fist fight scene, which is supposed to be this over-the-top segment but comes off as just another panel in this manga to any facial expression in Jitsu wa, Watashi wa or Kesa mo Yuraretemasu, where extremely mundane conversations lead to extremely funny reactions); and finally the ecchi is so safe it could be aired on morning school day slots in Japan.

If the author had chosen any one direction to go all out, this manga would have been much better. Unfortunately it plays so safe in all directions, it comes off as a wet toast - it had the potential to be crunchy and delicious with some jam on top, but now it's just watered down.

I'll give it a 5.5/10 - good premise but nothing much.
