Whats the story with this scanlation? If its already scanned in its entirety, is there a reason why HNG are redoing it?

Pretty late with the response and you probably already know it at this point but in case you don't, basically the old translation is kinda... lacking in a lot of ways. Serviceable enough, but not good as it could be, so Hokuto no Gun, given the huge fans of the franchise they are, are redoing the whole thing with a WAY BETTER translation and better typesetting. I've read both versions of the first few volumes and HnG is way better.

They really didn't need to do that but I'm glad they are. (and I'll probably reread the whole manga when they finish it)
