Not to be a virtue-signaling liberal or anything, but this might be the first manga I ever read where the MC is just straight up like “yeah I’m a pedophile,” and I know it’s supposed to be ok or cute because she’s a teenage girl and she’s figuring herself out and all that, but still feels pretty questionable. I’m still interested to see where it goes though. She seems to be self-aware enough to do some real changing and growing.

Not sure why people would disagree with your view when the main character is admitting it herself. For the record, I love girl's love stories like this and there is never a good answer that justifies developing romantic feelings for grade schoolers.

Now, you can make the argument Riko is still a minor so she can't be a pedophile which also makes sense imo.
