The realities of Japan's shrinking population... definitely more easily felt in the outskirts and smaller more rural places like that... yeah... I watched a video not too long ago about some Elementary schools closing due to their being either no kids or just not enough of them... it's kind of sad and a little scary to think about... not that I blame anybody for not wanting or being able to have kids of course. I mean... it's tough for sure. Ahh... I guess that wasn't really commenting a whole lot on the chapter itself... it was a good chapter... he got to meet the others of her friend group and they are entering their first year of high school... it seems like it will be an interesting series for sure, I am excited to read more.

"あたしは好きだな～" (Atashi wa suki da na~) doesn't specify "here" or "there" – it simply means "I like it~". The "な～" at the end adds a softer, more casual tone... well, my bad, it was a mistake

Regardless, it's not “here”. She's expressing a like for Toukyou.

Yeah, I was confused about the context...
whether she was referring to Tokyo or Urakita
