I mean you have to admire the pigs dedication to his goal, willing to do anything even if it means degrading himself, also one of his last words would have been about his children

I say it's pretty dangerous already if the kingdom is so depended on a single merchant. Sounds like a tiny banana republic. I guess Uchimura's point will be something that doesn't actually have anything to do with Butayarou specifically.

OPEN THE MEGA-LIZARD TRAP DOOR!

Well when you're the king you can ask the contractors build whatever you order them to.

is the pig’s name that powerful? I mean he was one of the merchants that were able to trade with that king but for the kingdom to collapse because of him is a bit...

@Kaiser92 There is no crony capitalism. Only crony companies. and they only keep making more profit because there are customers who support them with their funds and keep them going, because they don't know any better. Capitalism offers a field for competitive market, as such, it's not the company which decides its own success but the customer's wallet. If there was no capitalism then you would not have the choice of what to buy. you'd have ONE brand of each product and there would be a monopoly of everything. And in such a scenario, with no competitive market, anyone can gouge the price on everything. Can't afford food? go starve. Can't afford medicine? Don't care, that is our price (remember that one guy who basically increased the price for AIDS medication about 20 times from the original and everyone hated him for it? You'd see that a lot if you didn't have capitalism). As the word suggest, it's the flow of capital that controls the market and not the product
