food and economy make the world go round, after all why go halfway across the world for gold (mercantilism) if there was even a chance at accessing more gold despite the death and 4-6 month journey in open ocean (weird to think potatoes arent native to europe with it's modern associations making it feel like it's been around forever)
also these dum dums saying the capitalism complaints is unsolicited and unrelated in an arc thats gonna revolve around a nations economy and resource management whilst we clearly see monopolies clearly shown right there as a result of a Laissez-Faire/freemarket

Capitalism runs on greed. Incentivizes and promotes it.
Every other proposed system pretends like greed doesn’t exist. This causes the system to usually collapse in a couple generations. If you make a car and pretend hazards don’t exist and a perfect human drives the car, then your car never crashes!

Capitalism may promote it, but the system only exists in an environment where potential untouched profit exists. Let companies consolidate too much and you get corporatism, which typically means capitalism has ended. We need social capitalism, not unregulated capitalism.
