i still feel like this is textbook grooming! if im wrong put me in illiteracy jail forever
now even taiki is talking about preserving "what [they] have" together, saying he would kill for mikoma, and completely affirming all the things mikoma says. and mikoma is thinking of leaving his entire life behind and cutting off his best friend and crush for the sake of running away with taiki. i mean come on man
we still don't know much about taiki but i'm anticipating him being a very manipulative figure considering everything we've heard about him and his wife

Yeah, and the chapter kinda alluded to him having killed his wife.

I'm trying to keep optimistic about this work because it's got some really good sides, but I fell like Ryo is just falling into her old habits. Off the top of my head, the only named character that doesn't have some mental issues or massive trauma is Mikoma's mom. Maybe? I'm sure she's bipolar or something tho.

She sold the mountain and triggered Mikoma's misogynistic mindset as a consequence.

See guys?? All the core issues have its roots in the person who gives birth to the next gen.
