Was hoping that after talking with Ranko, Rea would remember Chihiro, she had a glimpse of their moment at the festival...
It's because of him, his own daughter committed suicide by drinking the zombiefication potion and him accidentally killing Rea...
I sense a "redemption arc", with him suddenly being okay around Babu, because he freaked out back then and killed Rea.
He doesn't deserve it, however author will justify it.
