I really do not understand Japan and how its people treat national heros, idols and stars.

They have a life and they can marry and love whom they want, if they are serving their country in Good spirit with great fame.
then the Country must aid them in their life, not restrict their life and make them into an object of profit solely for the State.

Even Military personnel have better rights who actually fight for the country with their lives.

(In Pakistan our Cricket teams are actually continuously asked when are they gonna get married so they can hoard on their spouses for juicy info on them)

Also apparently he doesn't like his scar. I don't get it either but hopefully the writer one day takes off the bandage for character development

The Principle and Mayor treat her as the town's idol, and basically are using her to advertise their town. As such, they have it in their heads that they get to control her and don't want her to have a boyfriend.
Despite the fact that they literally have no way to actually force her to do anything.

Part of why Mito is so supportive of Satome and Satoru is because the Principle is her Great-Uncle and the Mayor her Great-Aunt, and she hates them both.

As expected, the first conflict who was left unsolved until now, is showing it's ugly head. There's also the big sister one but I guess it can be solved as an after in the last chapter after all (this is more a Romance manga than a Sports manga).
