Endlessly complimenting Kagi, being so happy just playing dress-up with him, actually agreeing to go on a date basically?? This series is wrecking me emotionally for real, they're already really sweet together but I am so desperate to hear a mutual confession of love.

Oh yeah, I fully agree! The part in this chapter where they're grabbing eachother definitely felt like a testament to that, with the way Hirano wasn't flustered by the situation (unlike Kagi) but also didn't find it off-putting. Like he had no idea why he was supposed to feel weird about it.

When I told Sensei that I, a homosexual, really appreciated the realistic depictions of things in these works (coming-outs, Kagi-kun realising he’s physically attracted) during a stream, she sighed out “I wrote that hoping I did a good job…” or something like that. Year or two ago?

The chapter where Miyano comes out to his mom and it goes so well that it doesn’t register that she got it, so he just keeps coming out is CLASSIC. “Isn’t love nice. I love dad, too.

Friend who just asks a bunch of crap like a dick. Friend who’s hype. Friend who’s “yeah. I know”. Acquaintance who assumes it’s a big secret taboo thing to the point that he wants to follow them to see if they’re actually open.
Hirano all “he’s cool telling me that?” in retrospect Sasaki knew Hirano was queer as hell…
