I think reading a lot is fine. Better than spending all your time watching YouTube or playing the same two games over-and-over. I more-so was commenting on the 241 ongoing series with the assumption that you're actively keeping up with all of them. Though, going off of what you said, I'm going to guess that a lot of that 241 either haven't been updated in a long time and are just padding that number at the moment and/or you do actually let chapters stockpile for a lot of them.I read so much cuz I’m waiting for new chapters. I’ve read many completed chapters and still have a full list to read. But even when you search for new chapters some say it’s completed but not the translated version so it gets confusing since I have mine set to English it doesn’t show the other languages for the other chapters not translated. Or some that show no chapters having to go find them on other sites. Either way I like reading the ongoing ones and I still read completed ones but like any series or show your eager to read the new ones that came out. It’s all about that anticipation for what’s gonna happen next. Sure I forget somethings but I know I’m not the only one and it happens. But if a series is long like this it’s hard to go back to first chapter or read the last 3 chapters to feel like your back on track. If the chapters aren’t long I’ll go back from chapter 1 and flip thru it but not read details just enough to catch up. But bigger series it’s a bit harder. But that’s just me.unlike anime I could wait a whole two months but manga you’d have to wait a whole year and ya know you never know when life will end. So just enjoying what I can.
Will say, though, if the "Sure I forget somethings but I know I’m not the only one and it happens" is referring to forgetting with this series in particular, then, I mean... you aren't wrong, but this happens with every manga. If you read too much other stuff or take a break too long, you 100% will start to get confused. Said this in another post, but the same exact thing happened to me with The Moon on a Rainy Night, and that was purely because I read, like, 30 yuri between my reading of two of the chapters. It'd be a bit disingenuous to say that there isn't some confusion baked into this manga, specifically with Yori and Shiho being pretty easy to confuse (I know I confused them for a bit when I was reading this), but it's not entirely on the manga.
If that quote was not what I interpreted it as and you meant something different, then you can disregard that.
