The king and the prince are the only two people in the castle that are incompetent. As far as Noah goes, rather than being an incompetent, he's just an idiot that keeps hurting himself... with some really nonsensical, boneheaded ideas. Break the barrier😑? Noah's not evil, so when monsters show up and the town can't protect itself, ofc Noah's gonna try and save the day. That was the only outcome possible after breaking the barrier!
