Hi, we're currently still working on this title, mind sharing why you snipe it?
Oh brother. Your group has dozens of other titles and last I checked Sasha-chan is currently up to Ch.69. If you don't want people to snipe your projects then maybe you should work on them. You don't own the license, everyone is illegaly scanlating so you have no right to it over anybody else.Sasha head editor on Senko group here. First and foremost, we're sorry for the inevitable delay. Aside from our CLRD Sasha team (which I have been proud of as we're also cleaning everything including sfx), we're a little bit busy with university stuff.
Now for the meat of the discussion. Mind tell us why did you snipe our project? Unlike the recent group with the paywalled release we're not trying to withholding our release and in fact I think we can have some compromise if you are talking to us first rather than decide to do undeclared sniping.
Sniping is bad but sitting on a title is also bad for scanlation as a community effort. I'm just happy this is getting put out with decent grammar and typesetting tbh.
Our point is simple, talk. Like I said we're willing to compromise (as seen on "Dou Ganbatte mo H ni Nacchau Osananajimi" we did make an arrangement with SaLamiLid or several people that asking if a title in our name was dropped). We have active communication channel and our group was an active group as seen on recent release. I also didn't said I own a license or any special right, what we did in this series is based upon our love with Sasha series and it doesn't exclusive to our group. Yes, anyone can do this if you want to spread the word about this series but first let's talk so we didn't have to wasted our effort, so that the baton can be passed smoothly and without any bad feeling toward each other.Oh brother. We have an project list in our internal communication (Currently we have four active series, including this), I think this a fault on our side for not communicating it to the reader. Despite of that, we know our limit. See Kine-san for example. We're not actually picking it up, in fact, it was a plea to get a group pick that title as we don't have the capabilities to picking up more project (see our scanlator added page on that release). If say you are feeling doubtful about our capabilites to finish a series, we have some completed series under our group.Better question is why are you guys hoarding dozens of titles when you clearly can't keep up with them.
I've got nothing to do with it and honestly in this particular case, due to the fact that the translations are way behind the scans and you're only putting out a chapter a month at best, I think you should be the ones to pass the baton. That's no knock on you in particular; I appreciate the work you've done here and elsewhere, but if someone else can catch us up with easily as competent typesetting, cleaning, grammar etc I would rather they were allowed to do so. They probably shouldn't have gone about it in this way, and I hope it's not an indication of attitude going forward, but pragmatics should prevail. Our point is simple, talk. I think I'm probably correct in saying that nobody is doubting your ability to complete, it's just the pace where there's warranted concern. In particular with regard to catching up.We have an project list in our internal communication (Currently we have four active series, including this), I think this a fault on our side for not communicating it to the reader. Sorry man, it's been sitting untouched for a few months now and I figured I'd pick it up. I'll join your teams discord so we can discuss details.Hi, we're currently still working on this title, mind sharing why you snipe it?
Not only the month gap, but the rate of chapters was like 1-2 per month, for chapters that doesn't even reach 10 pages, it was bound to be sniped at some point as long someone was interested enough.Hard to call a 2 month old upload gap a snipe- but communication should be made to avoid anyone wasting effort in either group
At the end of the day, both groups and the readers- we all want the same thing, we’re all on the same team
A cursory glance at your feed shows way more than 4 ongoing series posted within the last couple of months. So, unless you've dropped some of those since then, or your group had no involvement but still has their name attached for some reason (a few are credited to 2 groups), then that's BS lmao.We have an project list in our internal communication (Currently we have four active series, including this)
Rings a bit hollow when there's a 2 month gap on a series with ~10 pages per chapter, which is about 50 chapters behind the raws. @vexell has TLed more chapters of this in a single day than your group has in 4 months, to a comparable level of quality.Despite of that, we know our limit.
Not bashing you guys but saying this shit is so fucking wack lmao. Currently working at 1 chapter a year is absolutely cooked, obviously im exaggerating but you get the pointHi, we're currently still working on this title, mind sharing why you snipe it?
