Comiket is massive, and the first 1-2 hours are pure chaos with everyone targeting the popular artists.

What I do is be very early, Q for a high-priority artist at a Gate / Wall, then quickly move to other popular artists (Usually islands) before they run out of stock, which happens fast and often involves a lot of moving, especially if I'm alone. After a break, usually until lunch, I'll hit the commercial/corporate area, some cosplayers, AND THEN roam around checking lesser-known or smaller circles like Master/Sasha, by which time it's already afternoon.

I figured you would chime in since you have actual experience going to these events.

Hey, I thought you'd dipped. Good to see you. Yeah, we'll see about her teasing. And I agree, if a person is as disturbed by this manga as others suggest, I don't know why anyone would follow his tweets. Can't be me.

I'm following the series since I already started it and I'm interested in seeing how it ends (plus based on Hagu's comments about it's narrative direction and relationship focus). Still, I'm not following anything beyond that. I'm assuming people are just passing around screenshots of his tweets maybe?
Oh I’ve stopped reading the translated chapters and was planning on stockpiling the raws until there’s another significant development. I still keep tabs on the comments and posts (like the one you tagged me for chapter 73). Like you, I’m also interested in seeing how it ends (even if it isn’t the outcome I’m hoping for) so I periodically check on it.

For narrative direction, I look at how Hagu responds to the reader to get more insight into it. I’m not sure if all of his tweets are being passed around since I just go to his twitter and check myself. I didn’t even know there was a tweet like the one Thorgin mentioned so you can tell my man is invested lmao. I just wish I didn’t have to translate and read
Hagu’s sexual fantasies of Sasha. Like yikes. The comments that also participate in them is eh as well.

This series is essentially a guilty pleasure of mine lol. I am still uncomfortable with it but I’d like to see where it goes.

It's not NTR but
while her and Master regularly have sex and she only really cares for him, Sasha has sex friends and there is a threesome with Master involved.

For some reason some people consider a threesome NTR--don't know why. Author has also made it clear it's not NTR and will end well for our main two but apparently he can't be trusted unless he says bad things about the series (/s).

They will have sex with other people involved. So, if you can't handle open relationships (though they aren't technically dating yet) and can't (or don't want to) separate outlandish fictional content from real world habits, I'd drop it now. Otherwise the series will be understandably uncomfortable for you.
Also, stay with us. DanDaDan season 2 is on the way. Plus more Frieren. You've got this.
I wouldn’t view a threesome as a cuck thing, but I do view open relationships as such, especially if that open relationship is only unilateral and effectively open on only one side (which this pretty much is though it’s not truly a relationship yet). Outside of Sasha dragging the Master around, he doesn’t really get play.

Well that's up to the individual but I get what you mean. A "cuck" thing is also not NTR either. He does get play with Sasha regularly but I understand what you're getting at. I wouldn't call him that personally but it's all interpretations.

Yeah that's how he always interacts. He seems very open and willing to discuss things. That interaction isn't very revealing. He's acknowledging what obviously happened in that scene. Not newsworthy.
Huh. Naturally, you don’t find the interaction 'newsworthy'—it doesn’t align with your romanticized version of what happened in the chapter. And it’s funny how you say, “He’s acknowledging what obviously happened in that scene,” when your romanticized version of the chapter conveniently skips over what Hagu was asked about. Almost like it would disrupt your narrative of events.

Hagu's reply reveals that Sasha's goal is specifically to upset all the men she claims to love because it gets her off. Their suffering is exactly what she craves, and she wouldn't do it if they were okay with it. This story is far from the flowers and rainbows you’re making it out to be.

He should update the tags now to mention the sexual content, though, I agree with that poster. That's only fair. Simple fix and Hagu is receptive. Are you following his Twitter? I thought you didn't like this series but you've posted about his Twitter a couple times now? I'm not interested in following his tweets.
I follow all the authors on X for every manga I read. There's always extra information to be found there.

I don't know what you're on about or why you're always so aggressive and by this point I don't care that much. Thanks for sending the tweet, though.

Oh, so the threesome has MC in there? As everyone told that it wasn't fair to the MC and he was destroyed by it, i had this idea that the threesome didn't include him and went full NTR.
I'm amazed on how Haguhagu is upperscaling this kind of romcom to be honest

People can handle shonen animes with men having multiple girls without any problem but the moment its one girl theyre losing their minds.
Nor does anyone shout cuck at the girls who fail to make the protagonist fall in love with them at the end of the series.
I wonder if this had been marketed as a shojo it would have been less controversial.

I feel like this take is a bit disingenuous if you relate it to your standard shonen rom-com (and shoujo rom-com for that matter). I would argue that the main distinction between this and any other harem rom-com is the lack of an on-stage character(s) development of those involved.

In the standard shoujo/shounen harem, you typically get introduced to the capture target(s), have multiple chapters and events build the emotional bond between the cast, and eventually reach a high enough intimacy between the characters where the reader is (usually) okay if they proceed with a physical relationship. This formula is standard for both harems and reverse-harems alike.

However, in Sasha's case, the reader gets zero of that between her sex friends. We have no idea what their character is like (aside from the most recent senpai), how they interact with Sasha outside of sex, and how they play a part in Sasha's life (again, outside of sex). There is a huge discrepancy in emotional bonding. Taking into account that we only really follow the story through Master's perspective, it only makes sense that most of the audience would be rooting for our little boy here.

Now whether or not you can shout cuckoldry is its own bag of worms. But you can admit that the foundation of the story is different than most standard harems.

As far as i know: She didn't tell HER FATHER they are a couple even after a threesome, even if she has feelings for him, they are not dating. Even if mc is open and into that, and thats only why its not NTR. Yes he is a cuck, but if they are not a couple there's no cheating therefore u cant call it ntr manga and hugu knows that, and thats why he does it. But u can say that's bait and author is only edging readers. U might stay after chapter 30 to see if he really is just edging master or this is good manga, but after chapter 49, u cant read it without knowing that this is all edge-bait.

So THIS is where the manga is being regularly uploaded to! Mangadex kept giving me the (Redraw) version, which only has a handful of chapters. Finally I can read everything as it's being released!

NTR is more like having the love interest be taken by someone else while the protagonist (or POV character) is oblivious to the situation, cannot do anything to stop it or is even complacent to it.

Which is different from cheating, where the characters need to be exclusively in a relationship with each other. There is overlap between NTR and cheating, but they're not the same.

So yeah, this manga classifies as NTR, just not splicity.

Even though I hate reading NTR stuff, it's a fascinating writing trope. There's some similar cuckold writing in Western writing, but it rarely gets reactions that Japanese NTR writing gets.

Thing I want to point out too is that NTR isn't the classic love triangle. In a love triangle, all parties involved are typically protagonists who are written sympathetically. Classic 'Team Edward or Team Jacob' stuff.

In NTR manga like Sasha-chan, the 3rd party is in the antagonist role, there to stamp out any positive progress in the couple's relationship, then written as an extended 'Bad End' scene.

Thanks, I really had hope that it could go the wholesome way, but I guess NTR will have to do... If at least they end up together and not in an open relationship I can live with it.
I'm already up-to-date with Dandadan and Frieren, and unfortunately Frieren is currently on hiatus, and it's harder to live each week that goes by
