I don't really get why Medusa more succesful than Dakini from company point of view. We still don't know why they started Medusa project, but every time ceo of company appeared in plot, he always with silent girl on wheelchair, so probably she is braindead, and their final goal to ressurect her. And Dakini much closer to it than Medusa.
Still it's just speculation

The mangaka will explain this very clearly in the next chapters. Don't think that the Medusa project stops at the Chika group generation result. They improved the Medusa test to next level in later chapters (from chapter 200 😂).

Don't read this if you want to experience it yourself in the next chapters.

These are totally different aim of project .

Dakini is brainwashing and uncontrollable, which lets a serial killer mind take over the owner's body.
Medusa is transfering a serial killer's abilities to the owner.
Dakini is creating a human tool.
Medusa is creating a superhuman.

That wheelchair girl is one of the final bosses.


The mangaka just said that he's taking a break, so no need to rush.
