Lol! Well, some family use this marriage system to have a better offspring. Some of my friends are also doing this, of course I thought it violated their freedom but no, they are doing good, hell they're better than me. So yeah, IRL it isn't some kind of big drama.

I don't know how strict Nada's family is on this matter. My friend's family does this but only after she herself had told her mom that she can look for a suitor for her. The now engaged couple only ever date with chaperones; never alone, the families encourage visits to each other's houses to bring the two families closer. As another user said, it's not as dramatic irl and I can only hope Nada gets a good man (or I will slam dunk him myself).
