Ahhhh I was wondering why they weren't wrapping things up even though it got the axe, it makes sense if it's an adaption. Of course, if there are only 2 LN volumes those likely sold poorly as well

Edit: Yeah the LN solds pretty badly, volume 1 only has around 200 ratings on Amazon. Generally even a moderately succussful series will have 500-800 ratings on Volume 1. The Manga actually did decently, but it was also Young Jump publishing it, it might have lasted a lot longer if it wasn't published by them

It wasn't so much this as much as that's all they HAD to adapt.

For those of you unaware, the light novel series got axed after volume 3 which was also introducing new plot points. So it wasn't that this fight was so long and awful it got the whole thing canned so much as this was literally all the adaption had to work with. It was either end it on the teacher fight, or begin introducing new things and leaving it on a cliffhanger.

I was REALLY hoping maybe Savage Fang could find new life as a manga series after the death of the LN, but I suppose it just wasn't meant to be.

Colette fell in love with Mylene, that's for sure. It was open ending in the light novel. Most likely mc chose both cause mc enjoy using Albert as a dress up doll making him crossdress but still doubt. Since he was a dude before, the obvious would be choose Colette since mc had already mentioned she's a beauty. But like I said, open ending.

Sad, the author didn't make it interesting enough to avoid the axe. =/ Perhaps the battle with the teacher should've been shorter, or he should've moved things along a bit faster. Who knows.

Honestly the story overal is too sedate while the teacher battle was dragged on too long. the author had 3 hams in a love triangle and it feels like Colette and Mylene at the end just drop the ball.
