While the author seems to know a lot about survival stuff and some modern weaponry, he/she clearly knows jack shit about european medieval weaponry.
Swords were sidearms most of the time(but not always, it mostly depending on the nature of the battle and on what the enemy was(including if the enemy was using armor)).
Spears, pole-arms, maces and axes were primary weapons.
Great-swords weren't a thing like this. They weren't worn on the back, but rather carried by hand (and put on the shoulder to ease the weight, though they never were as heavy as fantasy great-swords). They also didn't have large blades. The blade was long and as thin as normal length swords. the blade being large gives no benefit whatsoever, instead it only brings problems in handling the weapon. Plus, steel blades won't break just like that. It doesn't need to be larger.
Bows weren't a woman's weapon. It actually takes a LOT of strength to use a bow. More so than what is needed for a great-sword. (similarly, using a rapier requires more strength than a normal sword due to how it is used and due to the techniques for it)

Edit: Also, I just realized that none of them has a shield, which is another big minus. And they wear "leather armor", which actually never existed historically. At least give them a frikkin gambeson(aka an actual very good yet cheap type of armor that was used a LOT throughout all of the Middle Ages)!

There's actually plenty wrong with this series, way before the issue of those "adventurer's" weapons.

[*]Using a folding knife mid-combat, when she only had one hand to use. The blade's hard enough to extract one-handed when you're not being swung around by a gigantic wolf biting down on your arm.
[*]Her requiring grenade and RPG training for "self defense" in a medieval setting.
[*]Printing blueprints without even knowing the other world's measurement system (do they use meters? Inches? Goombas and Koopas?)
[*]Where did she get the necessary fonts anyway? Judging by her shop's signboard, the other world is clearly not using any alphabet used in our world. Is she a font designer?
[*]Getting simple carpenters to install electrical equipment. Where did they learn how to properly and safely handle it anyway? Did she teach them?
[*]Installing "various gaming consoles" in the other world, when she could just teleport back home to play them...
[*]People accepting her plastic-wrapped gifts without so much as a "WTF kind of material is this?"
[*]Nobody seems to be surprised at the fancy packaging in the first place, with all the extremely precise and detailed print.
[*]Selling flashlights in a world where electricity is unknown. Do these people even know what those things do, or why they'd want to buy one? And what about batteries?
[*]People using shopping baskets, as if it were a common concept in a world without supermarkets.
[*]Using a laptop, projector, microphone, and (invisible) speakers, when a simple painted (printed) canvas would've been much less likely to be questioned.
[*]Lending a freaking smartphone to take pictures. It's like she doesn't even care anymore that people could consider her a dangerous witch who needs to be eliminated.
[*]And after the initial surprise, nobody's asking about all that weird outlandish voodoo. As if the "foreign cuisine" is somehow more impressive than employing the services of a mage.
[*]Not to mention people seem more interested in buying fresh fish than finding out how she's shipping it in massive quantities. As if they couldn't ship it themselves and use the knowledge for more than just raw fish.

If you're still expecting realism, you might be reading the wrong manga.

@Nolonar That's fair. I indeed wasn't expecting realism in the first place. It's just that the premise used in the story (of her acting upon supposed real knowledge from her brother) combined with the medieval weapons and equipment kind of triggered one of my pet peeves that I usually don't bother commenting about.
I'm just a bit tired of how wrong medieval weaponry and settings are depicted in fiction most of the time.

@Sancturil Dude, they are in a town, you are gonna keep your main weapon sheathed, and out of the way, not in ready to draw position. That great sword is fine on the guy's back, unless he plans to use it in a hurry, and that's without taking into consideration an open weapon mount, like the hook that holds Kratos' axe.

but there is 1 thing with leather armor you forget^^ its a fantasy world ! the chances of there being monsters with steel like hide is HUGE which makes a good leather armor VASTLY superior to full plate ! if it exists that is^^ i agree with the rest

melting down gold is pretty easy and even purifying it further is something any average joe can do. It'd be real easy if the majority of impurity was mercury and lead. If it is silver or platinum then that takes more work, though platinum would make the gold worth more in large quantities

If you're still expecting realism, you might be reading the wrong manga.

If you consider that world could have orcs, dragons and such then rpgs and grenades are a must have.
She also give instructions how to use and flashlights are way better then torches in many occasions.
By using modern equipment she can makes the living much more comfortable. Plus using mic, beamer and speakers gives it more a theatrical feeling.
She is also store owner, so she can't escape to the modern world and keeping an eye on the store.

If you consider that world could have orcs, dragons and such then rpgs and grenades are a must have.

But she's not carrying that RPG around with her, so what's the point? Sure, she can just teleport to fetch it, but then why not just teleport to a safe location in the first place? We've seen her teleport out of danger before, so it's not like she needs time or focus to do it.

Fact is, explosives are dangerous even to the user themselves. Nobody in their right mind would want to use them when there's a perfectly valid alternative. And so far, we have seen no reason why she'd need explosives in particular. She's not a miner, she's not fighting a war, she's not even exploring the world as an adventurer or similar.

Spoiler: Chapter 33 spoiler

When she does fight a war, she brings a whole army with her. And while they do fight a dragon and do use RPGs, she's just hanging back and shouting orders. So why does she, specifically, need to learn how to handle explosives?

Besides, if you shoot an RPG the way it's depicted in chapter 33.2 page 1, the guy behind you will sustain horrible burn wounds and might die.

She also give instructions how to use and flashlights are way better then torches in many occasions.

She can only give instructions if the customer is actually interested in buying, though, but they aren't.

She's trying to open a shop with zero notion of what her customers want or need. Heck, she's even trying to sell a "scales remover" in a country that can't eat fish due to not having access to the sea and lacking the means to conserve fish long enough to import it.

You could argue that she's just stupid, but she was smart enough to calculate the amount of gold coins she'd need for retirement, which is less trivial than performing a basic market analysis before opening a shop.

By using modern equipment she can makes the living much more comfortable.

Which is unnecessary, since she can teleport between worlds at will.

Her goal is to save enough money for her retirement, yet she is wasting it purchasing and installing power generating equipment in a world where the people don't know how to handle it. How many power generators had to be replaced just because the carpenters didn't know how to install them properly? Who's going to perform maintenance on the solar panels, and how much money will she have to waste on replacing those whenever they get damaged from stuff falling on them?

Plus using mic, beamer and speakers gives it more a theatrical feeling.

It also paints you as a witch. Even if there are no witch hunts in that world, some people may want to assassinate her out of fear of her incredible reality-bending powers of illusion.

She is also store owner, so she can't escape to the modern world and keeping an eye on the store.

But she can take mobile devices with her, such as a Switch or 3DS, or a laptop. She doesn't need to waste money on power generators and proper electrical installations.
