had to read this on manga see cuz I couldn't find the eng translation on here, this is my first Fujimoto work. Wowzas man. I didn't really look at this manga as critically as I think I should have but I think its emotional value alone cements it as something special to me, just poetic fam. All I'll say critically is that I like the decontextualization of the explosion motif carried in this one shot, I'll revisit this sometime soon, but holy fuck Fujimoto, I am excited for ur other works now.

legit don't know why they had to advertise the english translation on some other manga site I've never even heard of but this one is is good. really plays into banksy's second death but the parts we remember become the person we remember and not the real person. I remember watching a vsauce video talking about why we remember the 40s in black and white or the 90s like with a disposable camera. memories are just a big script and we have to fill in the pieces ourselves

An actual masterpiece. I don't really give out 10/10 ratings too often but this one kinda just forced me to.

I'm surprised Look Back got a movie adaptation before this, but then again, it also came out earlier, so maybe they'll do one of Sayonara Eri next? One can only hope. It's like the perfect oneshot to translate into film.

I got the opportunity to read this work long time ago, it still hurts.
Hurts because the only thing that can give me the same emotion is re-reading the oneshot.
Nothing in my life gave me those feelings, in fact. This was the best Book/One-Shot/Manga I saw on my life.

The plot is really, really out of pocket, and the end. The end is a brain killer in a god way.
And like I said before, this work is the last thing that gave me feelings, so Im going to re-read this again. If i cry again, atleast i got the opportunity to fall in love with this One-Shot again, and let the same One-Shot break my heart again
