After that much drama, it really needs more follow-up time to cash out on all those pent-up feelings. Not enough catharsis! But otherwise it does what it does well, even if the ending is predictable.

Also, for those that care for whichever reason, this is barely yaoi (as opposed to shounen-ai). Cut out one of the final pages in a flash-forward at the end, and it wouldn't be at all.
