Pretty crappy genre imo, quickly dropped. Can imagine it being better for people who like this type of stories though, was much better looking then most of the same type.

Greedy and arrogant people shifted the blame of modern societie’s problems onto the youth, so they shrink and cull them upon graduation.

As for current chapter, the red hair is a hypocrite.
All he killed were the agents who got in the mc’s way. And yet he butched so many innocent children.
I seen the raws, the red hair is just a psycho.

man i just CANT suspend my disbelief for this series. i find the world building have a pretty weak premise that gets railroaded just so we can see kids getting killed? just can't imagine a scenario where humanity would give up their rights and obligations to nurture children as a whole for this

pretty good series, 8/10
@yarrayora
to be fair, it is the easy way out of nurturing children, while having a high level of eugenism.
but part of the reason we raise children is to raise heirs, to conglomerates or families. to remove that of society is also part of this paradise plan. but a paradise cannot be artificial, and some "adults" become psychos lol
it would make more sense if:
1) adults by law cannot have heirs and thus cannot raise children (it's revolting, but once it's a societal norm you wouldn't question it, just like many are fine seeing a zoo, praying every morning, cooking their own meals, drinking water, abortions, etc...)
2) adults are giants (and also live longer, thus the procedure), while children are normal-sized (muh realism) but oh well realism isn't that entertaining anyway

@OrcMaster yeah the disbelief i have is less about "why is everyone ok with this" and more like "HOW did it become this?" bc youre right it's already societal norm, and idk if it will be explored or not but i doubt it, since it feels like a story that'll be focused on the children's struggle instead of the world building

Only 18 chapters so I guess this series was axed? Still quite enjoyable, hopefully I can read the ending. Thank you for picking this series up ^^

honestly, this manga has a good concept but follows a very stupid trend, just to drive the protagonist crazy. The thing is really evident, in every chapter happens something totally random, unpredictable and often stupid. Deus ex Machina get out of the way, now we have Sayonara Peter Pan

All in all not surprising. The premise is an amusing twist to the Peter Pan tale, while mixing in the typical politics of a dictatorship, who preach utopia and a better life, ultimate built on massive lives, sacrifices and concentration of power towards a selected group, while giving no fucks about their people. Ch 14 is a good example of that.

Ok why and how could any possible human society in any sense end up like this? I'm pretty sure that even if the elitist psychopaths in power decided on something- there would be no way a large enough amount of people would agree with
Child genocide slaughterhouses that crush, literally squeeze human children that are genetically altered, into piles of human entrails while they're still conscious and screaming for their lives
At least not enough people for this to continue for over a decade

@Soveregin Let's not forget the fact this is built as a huge dictatorship with massive media manipulation behind. While the eugenics/shrinking stuff is extreme to some extent, it is not completely unrealistic really in the grounds of dystopian dictators fearmongering (lying) everyone about their "perfect" society.
