of her now dead coworker, he was not thrilled about the marriage between the fl and ml and wanted her to find a scoop on the friend of the ml, probably to wedge them apart and considering they were both in the same field he could have gotten the report by accessing her computer but I digress.

Not sure if the author was dropping purposeful hints about said-suspicion or if it's just a red herring /shrugs.

I was super curious to how this would end up and I caught up to the raws and WHEW, it's a lot. gonna put it under a spoiler because man, I am ANGRY haha.

so up until chapter 35, it turns out the actress, the fox she is, played a big role in getting in between FL & ML. she drugged the alcohol ML drank (hence why he doesn't remember anything from that night) and when FL went to the apartment to confront ML, fox actress answered the door and "apologized" while wearing a chemise or whatever and insinuated that "this" (ML cheating on FL with her) was the situation. it's also revealed FL has PTSD about this whole confrontation and documents her journey in a journal that ML reads when FL has an episode when he asks if she's ever met fox actress before (she flashes back to the confrontation that night and runs to go throw up & then faints.)

even crazier is that fox actress admits that she edited (or had someone edit) the CCTV footage of when she & her manager + FL left the building when FL confronts her in a meeting room (ML 100% backs her up, yay! and even comes between the 2 when fox actress grabs FL and begs for mercy lol). at this point it's pretty much confirmed FL DID NOT write the scandal article but where the raws are, no idea who it is currently. my speculation is the dead sunbae but we'll see I guess?
