Nice to see Mars is making progress on maturing but also still struggling with his impulses.
That sort of thought process is relatable to the teens. Who are learning and struggling between their desires and becoming someone who has tamed them and is not swayed by them. People who do the right thing even if no one is watching or nobody would find out if they did otherwise.
Few who are tempted by thoughts like Mars are malicious. They generally would not want to harm the girls at all. But they may not fully comprehend the harm or how the girls feel. Even more so since if things were reversed generally the guys would feel the opposite(at first glance they would be excited to have a girl checking them out). That feeling of course would fade and be replaced by mutually relatable concerns and insecurities, and eventually most would likely feel similar to girls about it.
My point is just that teens are flawed human beings who are still awkward, developing morals, learning empathy/sympathy, understanding of others and so on. Their wayward ways need correction, but they need grace and forgiveness as they learn. They need people to call them out on stuff like that, but they also need others to not hang them over a mistake forever. Many of them don't yet understand how their actions, words, and behaviors can affect others yet fully.

Ok so remaining in Scarlet form for too long is probably bad, especially sleeping. If memory bleed or whatever starts happening, (maybe it already has) it could be hard to resolve it feeling more right to be Scarlet.
Estrogen could be a good thing to try after retiring from the role
