Kisaki was having fun with friends, but his psyche was still fragile.

I don't think he truly "loved" ghosts, it is just that his power manifested as charisma to spirits and the skewed vision people had of him made him hyper-fixate on that "connection".

He respected Nimura-sensei very much and his wanting to leave the division to Makube must have looked like a betrayal, but sensei must have chosen that because he wanted to free Kisaki from that obsession and loneliness, if Kisaki simply stayed using the division as a crutch he would still be isolated from people.

And he chose Makube because he needed a more immediate reason to keep going... unfortunately, things must have happened in a way that he couldn't organize things like he wanted.

Now the question is if Nimura-sensei is alive or dead, with how things are with spirits, just his hand being severed isn't enough proof that he is dead, so he could be alive, but that still opens the question who or what is keeping him as he clearly was a very powerful practitioner.

I love Iruko's outfits, I love the double hair bun.

So hey went through their whole college life exorcising ghosts and demons as their college club? No wonder it felt so normal to them! Poor girl though, she was so traumatized. Seeing the three of them joke like that must have felt insulting.

Poor Iruko, Makube, and Kizaki. They really didn't pick their jobs, they just did their best with the hands given to them. And now they're thinking about their afterlives, and how they don't deserve paradise... I can honestly say that in a world like theirs, I cannot believe that. But with their knowledge, I can certainly understand why they think so.

Thanks to Iruko's comments though I also want to wonder. How many ghosts are waiting for Kizaki?

Kizaki wanted to have fun with everyone but it looks like Makube was the one chosen by Nimura-sensei to take over for him. That must have really set Kizaki off, who wanted to be the best disciple there. But what happened to Nimura-sensei? Why was his hand left behind, and what was so special about the 10 damage reports?

God, Iruko becoming more and more of my favourite. Also I love how when Niimura-sensei talked about graduation trip and resolving cases Kizaki main focus was on the trip and actually have fun with Makube and Iruko. Perhaps what he truly needed all along are friends that's willing to be with him but he lost sight of it when Niimura-sensei gone.

The backstory continues. I like it.

That girl sure was rude. They saved/helped her and all she could say to her benefactors was that they're weirdos?

So that's the root of their feud now. Kaoru was chosen instead of Ryuuichi to be Shigenori's successor. That really stung him considering he was there longer than Kaoru and devoted himself to helping their mentor. I dunno if it was motivated by love, but I'd imagine it could be like Kaoru entering a romantic relationship with some other girl after everything Iruko has done for him.

Too bad this ruined the wholesome moment of the three of them remarking they'd all meet up in hell after death.
