@ProudNoob, this is a Tiger and they were tough customers ... its really not facing much competition there. And yes, it doesnt need a escort (it is operating on what is "friendly" territory under air cover) and its doing its job, being a shield for the infantry unless you think the infantry should go ahead of the armor and they really shouldnt.

The American team could only win if they ambushed the Tiger and disabled it, that is what they were trying to do ... they are simply outgunned and outnumbered.

Quite historical accuracy there. The M1 bazooka's rocket caliber was to small to be able to penetrate a tiger armour (not to mention the shot was angled). Their tactic would be aim for the track to immobilize the tank and storm it or call in for reinforcement (Tank destroyer such as M10 or M18 GMC). Unless you can hit the tank's weak spot such as the side or lower glacis
