Personally, I prefer the rewrite over the old 166*. The old one was a mishmash of traits, some of them unrelated to succubi from mythology or even succubi from modern fiction.
*: actually, 166 has gone through more than one rewrite. If you look at the first few versions of the article, they lack some of the traits (like getting hurt by clothes) that are in the familiar "old 166" and in this manga adaptation of it.
