The webcomic raw is released every Wed and Fri CST 12pm at the Tencent manga app. All available chapters have been translated as of today.

This manhua adaptation is titled 穿书自救指南 (Chuan Shu Zi Jiu Zhi Nan). I saw from the cover picture that the official English title is "Scumbag System" so that is what I used for Mangadex. This is based on the novel 人渣反派自救系统 (Ren Zha Fan Pai Zi Jiu Xi Tong) aka The Scum Villain's Self-Saving System. BTW, the author also wrote Mo Dao Zu Shi (魔道祖师).

for my taste. Compare to Lan Zhan(GMoDC) from the same author, this story ML is nothing at all. However, I really like our poor protagonist and the art style. Guess I'll stick around for a while. 😑

@elbs bro this whole comic is base on a danmei novel so its not really gratuitous, The author didn't shoehorn any BL. The whole novel is has been gay from the start

There are so many hetero and yuri transmigration stories out there so if you don't like this, you can go ahead and read those.

This story is totally great danmei and not a waste. Imo what's pointless is you reading this with the knowledge of this being a yaoi manhua, still read it and complained about it afterwards^^

for people looking here: this is likely not a hiatus but a cancellation entirely. the Chinese netizens caused tons of drama over the studio and won't accept this work being adapted by them. it would be incredibly surprising if the studio continued. the production team/copyright owners will probably find a new studio and start over from chapter 1 with new character designs...
