This has gotten so stupid. These characters have become increasingly flimsy and unrelatable on a human level.

I want to keep reading since its an interesting tangled story of unrequited loves / chase and be chased. But the characters are getting further and further from anything realistically human. It's looking more like drama just for the sake of more drama and for the author to keep dragging it out and get a paycheck from the publisher.
