Sometimes I want to find a manga that is completely translated so I can binge it start to finish. I don't see a way to effectively do that with the search function right now.

Right now you can search for manga by publication status, but that's only official publication status. A "Completed" manga may only have a handful of chapters scanalated. Something that tracks whether or not the entire manga has been translated would fix that, or at least something to check if a final chapter has been uploaded for the manga.

Read the planned features list.

I did read planned features. Planned features does not list this. Only mention of the End Tag is relating to chapter information shown in the title. Nothing is mentioned about search.

If the feature has been rejected it needs to be better indicated. Also if it's been rejected that was the wrong decision, but that's a different discussion.

Rejected

END status (per language)
I don't know how much more clearer you can get than this. I could go back and pull an old thread that has a dev explaining the myriad of reasons as to why it's been rejected but i'll leave that up to you.

How about an entry under the Search section, to start?

Also that's unclear if the issue is End status tracking at all, or per language.

If such a feature were to exist, it would have to be per language, so which one is exactly the problem is a moot point.
And as for it being the wrong decision: y'know how it gets brought up every week? Every single argument under the sun has been made about this feature, and the result is always this: the translation being 100% complete for any given language cannot be reliably automatically determined. It just cannot. And having "complete" status manually stored and updated is its own can of worms.

@MrIncognito I think you're missing the point of what I'm saying: the way this feature is listed as "Rejected" in the Planned Features list is ambiguous and makes it seem like the "per language" portion is the issue, and on top of that mentions this as something specific to Title information, not searching. I mean there's a damn Search section in the list but this isn't there.

I think part of the reason this gets asked every week is because people check the Planned Features list and don't see it, just like I did. However clear some people think that is, the four word summary of such a divisive issue clearly isn't cutting it.

I'm sorry I responded to what you wanted to be a parting shot instead of addressing your complaint.

The rejected feature was worded that way to attempt to cover several different feature requests stemming from the same backend (something on the manga listings telling you it's done, something on the manga page itself, filtering based off of complete/not) as well as the most common suggestion as to how to implement it ("just check if a chapter is marked 'END'!").

It is unlikely to be changed, as that thread is going to be defunct as of the next update
