1. It's not really a game and not really a different world. Kind of a fusion between the two. The obelisk is in this world but it's sort of a pocket dimension controlled by magic. So the people he is running into aren't people from another world, but people from this world. That's the reason why there are Greek gods (Zeus, Athena, Apollo, Hermes etc). Plus the gorgon aka Medusa (medusa is the name of a gorgon BTW). So no they on some other planet.
2. His brother is dead. Killed by the members of the Arthia guild which is why he's hunting them to seek vengeance.
3. The Arthia guild.

The whole story is about taking revenge on the people who killed his brother. That's why he's targeting the members of the guild that betrayed him.

Well seems obvious that the black king would be Hades considering they are going the Olympian gods path, Hades is supposed to be trapped in the underworld.

@Xennith i fully agree with you, would be surprising if black king was anyone other than Hades considering his relationship to zeus. (maybe our MC was denied Astrape because it represents his brother, while he is the dark vengful one, so he gets hades who is zeus' brother)
