Nakayama does as Nakayama does best. I must say, the specific fear of losing bodily autonomy doesn't show up quite as much as other themes do. For sure we have the fear of death, which is the ultimate loss of autonomy, and we've had stories about sleep paralysis, but in general Nakayama doesn't play in this space much. Perhaps he ought to!

The story Photo in Ch. 7 of the original Seeds of Anxiety also highlights this sort of possession complete with internal monologue of disbelief by the victim.

Thinking it over, if ghosts were stuck in the general vicinity of the house they used to live in. And either move on or live in the new house if it was demolished and rebuilt. And my house was preserved. I'd be pissed.
