He is so completely dumb for bringing that thing into his world. He KNOWS calamity follows those two plus the centaur. It’s crazy at this point that he would think it’s okay.

Man the initial parts were great but the fact he left that monstrosity with his team is terrible.

Thanks for the translation!

Would prefer it if the author just quit trying to make some deeper story for this, he clearly is unable to make a good one. The villains are complete garbage and story would be better without.

I'm gonna respectfully disagree. It's rare to have more than 2 sides in a story (good vs bad); even more rare for a setup like this. Sure, it's slow, but there's way more nuance across the factions than usual—and even some variance within the factions, and I'm all for that.

Granted, the donkey group subplot, I don't like. That could disappear and I might enjoy this more. But the old demon lord faction being unaligned with anyone but the main character, the church having its good and bad parts, the old heroes having their good and bad parts (and split up into smaller factions), and the individual countries having their own politics and wars? I think those parts have been done well.

Again, I do just wish the donkey trio wasn't so much of a joke faction. They could disappear, in my opinion.

you know, i'm getting sick of these so called heroes that think it's cool to destroy the world to save it. i say the heroes in manga only exist to be exterminated like the vile pestilence that they are. they, and those arrogant wastes of flesh and bone who are isekaied are the lowest scum of humanity we have, and we are better off for having them removed from our world. i say good riddance to bad rubbish.
NGL, I truely believe a lot of people start out as altruistic and are just corrupted by their own power. Even more so for the easybake oven heroes that were powerless and or abused before their uplifting to isekai protagonist.

On the flipside of that coin are the chad heroes that were the captain of their respective sports club, or the popular kid of their click. They are used to being smothered in praise and are quick to feel slighted. I can easily see them being corrupted by honey traps, promises of political power, and or money. And then quickly getting butthurt or bored because they are no longer the center of attention.

There are no scarcity of real life examples here on Earth and I can only see the effects being exponentially amplified many times once true personal power is added to the mix. True not all fall into this trap, but it does easily explain the inclusion of the self entitled asshats that are consistently mucking around in the isekai genre.
