Maybe Izanami suggests that to ever new vampire, and every new vampire turns her down with the same reaction. None of them really seem nefarious or ambitious in the way of amassing power or anything.
It's too bad this series got axed, it's the first time i see this happen before my very eyes, but i can't really do anything to change that, perhaps there is a future where this gets a continuation.
It's so peculiar introducing characters like this at the end of a series. I'm just glad Yuu and Nana ended up together with a substantial lack of drama. Super refreshing.
Looks like the author still had a lot of ideas when they announced it was getting axed, so they said "fuck it" and just put dozens of chapters worth of content in 3 chapters
@Kaarme That would be a funny twist. Kinda makes me think of Douluo Dalu where at the sequels, the MC is constantly trying to give away his god status, only to be refused every time
